UYSA Welcomes New Additions to the State Office Team

The UYSA state office is proud to announce the addition of two new employees. Corinne Piazza is the new Public Relations Coordinator, and Stephanie Kirtley is the new Administrative Assistant.

The UYSA is looking to expand its outreach and increase its presence in the community. The Public Relations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the general PR of the UYSA, including current outlets such as the newsletter and the website, as well as developing new mediums to help increase membership, funding, and UYSA name brand recognition as "The Place to Play Soccer in Utah." The PR Coordinator will also assist Greg Maas with the Coaching Education Program and its development and with the UYSA partnership with ReAL Salt Lake.

Piazza Piazza was born and raised in Connecticut and is alumna of the Division-I University of Rhode Island Women's Soccer team. While playing for URI, Piazza earned her degree in Communications and went on to build a career in Public Relations. Her lifelong experience playing soccer brought her back to the game and UYSA. "I realized how much of a positive impact playing soccer had on my development as a person over the years, and I wanted to give back the opportunity that I had to play back to today's youth," said Piazza. "By combining my PR experience and passion for youth soccer, I look forward to bringing continued and new success to the UYSA."

Kirtley The UYSA welcomes Stephanie Kirtley as the new Office Administrator. Kirtley will have her hands full with general office management and assisting in the administration of all UYSA programs. Kirtley is from Richfield, Utah and recently graduated from Southern Utah University with a degree in Communications. "This position is a great opportunity for me," said Kirtley. "I look forward to working with the office staff and UYSA members and becoming an asset to the UYSA team."

The UYSA would like to thank our previous employees Keri Dalton, Secretary, and Jodie Harward, Receptionist. In the last few years the UYSA has grown by leaps and bounds and developed into a successful customer service oriented organization. The positive change has been a direct result of Dalton and Harward's hard work and dedication. They also played a vital role in UYSA administration, events, and tournaments. The UYSA would like to wish Dalton and Harward the best of luck in their future endeavors and welcome Piazza and Kirtley to the UYSA organization.
