2005 Region IV ODP Camp Update #5

The 2004-05 ODP season has come to a roaring end for Utah's boys and girls. The Utah '88 boy's team was the final cycle and set two ODP records along the way with their smashing performance in McMinnville, Oregon.

The '88 boys were matched against Washington, Cal North, Colorado, Idaho and Cal South. The '88 boys' week was highlighted by another tremendous run by Utah's ODP against California, beating Cal North 1-0 and capping the week with a 1-1 draw with Cal South. The '88 boys set a single-team record for Utah's boys by garnering six selections to the coveted Region IV ODP Pool: James Jaramillo, Andrew Morris, Reid Baker, Russell McCluskey, Roberto Linck and Ryan Ulanch.

In addition, State Technical Director Greg Maas announced that Utah's ODP garnered a phenomenal 30 selections to the respective 2004-05 Region IV ODP Pools - eclipsing last year's record of 24 selections.

The final installment for the 2004-05 ODP season will be next week, and will include tryout information for next year's 2005-06 ODP season.
