Megan Ohai of Draper, Utah, Jessie Baddley of Ogden, Utah, and Elli Reed of Park City, Utah have been called to National Team duty with the U.S Women's National Under-16 Team. Ohai, Baddley and Reed are products of the Utah Youth Soccer Association's Olympic Development Program and club teams affiliated with UYSA. Ohai was previously a member of last year's U-15 National Team. U.S. Under-16 Women's National Team Head Coach Sue Patberg will lead training camp at U.S. Soccer's National Training Center in Carson, Calif., from February 24th to March 3rd. In addition, Hailee DeYoung of Draper, Utah, also a member of UYSA's Olympic Development Program and club teams, will join Megan Ohai and Jessie Baddley with US Youth Soccer's '89 Region IV Team headed to Costa Rica from March 14th to the 23rd. "This is an incredible honor and unprecedented achievement for these young ladies and our Olympic Development Program - of which we can all take great pride. There is no doubt that their accomplishment can be credited to countless hours of hard work, and the tremendous support of accomplished teammates and coaches," said State Technical Director and ODP Director Greg Maas. |
