Kevin Griffith Appointed as State Director of Referee Instruction

Utah Soccer Association President Bill Bosgraaf and Utah Youth Soccer Association President Paul C. Burke are pleased to announce their joint nomination of Kevin Griffith to serve as the State Director of Referee Instruction. Griffith succeeds the legendary Bill Marsh, who served in the position for seventeen years before resigning in November to accept a church mission call.

"We are thrilled that Kevin has agreed to accept this post," said Paul C. Burke. "There is perhaps no more important task, and no greater need, than referee development in our state. Bill Bosgraaf and I are confident that Kevin's years of experience, coupled with his dedication and common sense, will enable him to promote referee education across the state."

Griffith is expected to begin his service on the State Referee Committee at its meeting on Tuesday, January 11th.
