X-League Closing Ceremonies Scheduled for May 13, 2005

The games have been played, the oranges have been eaten, and the season has been packed full of learning and fun. Now it's time to celebrate! The X-League Closing Ceremonies will be held Friday, May 13 from 7-8:30 pm and include a great lineup of soccer fun and festivities.

The evening will consist of a special coaching clinic/demonstration hosted by Greg Maas, UYSA State Technical Director, and feature guest players from ReAL Salt Lake! You won't want to miss this chance for your soccer star to improve on his or her skills with the help of the MLS pros.

Coach Maas is proud of both the X-League players and their coaches, and looks forward to an exciting event. "The X-League has proven to be a catalyst for some of our finest young players who aspire to compete at the highest level. These players have worked very hard to develop their skills and understanding of the game and I am honored to close the season with a great clinic/demonstration featuring some of Utah's finest."

Be sure to bring your camera to get a shot of your child with their ReAL heroes and after the coaching clinic awards will be given out to all players.

Please note that you do not need to have your entire team present to participate. Any player from the X-League is welcome. Participants should bring a ball and water, wear their jersey with pride, and prepare to learn from the best. The Closing Ceremonies will take place at Hunter Park, 6000 West 3500 South.
