Utahns Selected For US Youth Soccer adidas Cup

State Technical Director Greg Maas announced that Kelly Isleib of Park City and Lynzee Lee of Draper, Utah have been selected to play for the Region IV Olympic Development Program (ODP) team competing in the 2005 US Youth Soccer adidas Cup. The adidas Cup takes place May 30 through June 3 in Houston, Texas. The tournament will consist of seven teams including four regional US Youth Soccer ODP teams as well as the Under-19 Women's National teams from Canada, Japan, and the United States.

Isleib, who is currently training with the U20 WNT until the 29th in Carson, California, and Lee are both products of the Utah Youth Soccer's ODP and club teams affiliated with UYSA. "There is little doubt that Kelly is technically one of the most talented players in the country, and Lynzee's athleticism and presence as a goalkeeper are equally impressive," said Maas.

Established in 1977, the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) serves as the organization's elite player identification and development program designed to establish a pool of players from which U.S. National Teams may be selected. The UYSA would like to wish Isleib and Lee the best of luck at the US Youth Soccer adidas Cup.
