ODP Tryouts Kick-Off October 29th
Cache Valley and Southern Utah Host First ODP Events

State Technical Director Greg Maas and ODP Administrator Judy Martin announce the start to the 2005-06 ODP season with tryouts held in the Cache Valley and Southern Utah on Saturday, October 29th. Additional tryouts will be held November 5th, 12th, and 19th across the Wasatch Front. The complete ODP tryout schedule will be posted on this site.

Soccer players born between 1989-1993 are eligible for this year's ODP program. The tryouts in Cache Valley will be held on Saturday, October 29th in Hyrum, Utah; the tryouts in Southern Utah will be conducted at Sandstone Elementary in St. George. Tryouts in Hyrum will be held from 9:00 to Noon for the boys and 1:00 to 4:00 PM for the girls. Tryouts in St. George will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 PM for both the boys and girls.

Utah Youth Soccer's Olympic Development Program is part of a national program that identifies and develops talented, committed youth soccer players to represent their state, region, and national team programs. Last year, Utah achieved unprecedented success setting an all-time record with 30 young Utahns advancing to represent the state in region and national team pools.
