Developmental Pass Available for Use

Girls Competition Director Debbie Haycock has announced that the Developmental Pass is ready for implementation. There are still a few issues that need to be resolved and the process will most likely evolve. Due to the delay in the implementation of the developmental pass policy it will be available this season only through October 29 2005, on a trial basis. For the remainder of this period, the process includes the following:

1. The "borrowing" coach must first seek permission to borrow a player from the coach of the player's primary team and obtain the players pass.

2. The player ID # must be obtained

3. The following information must be emailed to Debbie Haycock at debbiesgang@msn.com, a minimum of 24 hours before the game with the following information:

  • Name of the Developmental Player
  • Developmental Player ID # (on Player Pass)
  • Game Number the Developmental Player Is to Play In
  • Date of the Game
  • Team Name the Player is Being Borrowed From. (Primary Team)
  • Team Name of the "Borrowing" Team
  • Name of the Person Making the Request and Affiliation to the Team

4. Upon receiving the request, the information will be confirmed and the developmental player will be added to the "borrowing" team's roster. Notification of the addition of the developmental player to the roster will be emailed no later than 3 hours prior to game starting time.

5. Print the "revised" team roster and take it to the game

6. Remember permission must be granted by the borrowing coach and both the developmental players pass and the "revised" roster must be presented to the referee for team check-in.

7. The developmental player's pass must be returned promptly after the match.
