Utahns Called to National Team Duty

Hailee DeYoung of Draper, Utah and Elli Reed of Park City, Utah have been called to National Team duty with the U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team. DeYoung and Reed are products of the Utah Youth Soccer Association's Olympic Development Program (ODP) and club teams affiliated with UYSA. Reed was previously a member of last year’s Under-16 Women’s National Team.

U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team Head Coach Erica Walsh of Tallahassee, Florida will lead training camp in Seattle, Washington and Vancouver, British Columbia July 7-17, 2006. "This is an incredible honor and achievement for Hailee and Elli. There is no doubt that their accomplishment can be credited to countless hours of individual hard work, and importantly, the tremendous support of accomplished teammates and coaches with their respective ODP and Club teams," said State Technical Director and ODP Director Greg Maas.
