YSM "Parents Play Kids Day" A Blast For All
Most soccer players are lucky to have dedicated parents come to watch them play all the time. But how many times have the parents stepped on the field to play too? The Parents Play Kids Day clinics are a great opportunity for families to play the game together for a nice change, while helping parents get a better understanding of how it is to be on the field.
Our first "Parents Play Kids Day" of Youth Soccer Month was a great success. Greg Maas, UYSA State Technical Director, led the event and had kids and parents a like running around and learning the game. Real Salt Lake's Chris Brown and Joey Worthen came to help out with the clinic and sign autographs, with a little help from RSL mascot Leo the Lion!
USYS and Clif Z-BaR sponsored the event and there were plenty of free goodies for everyone who participated.
Special thanks to everyone who participated and to our sponsors. We hope to see you at our next free "Parents Play Kids Day" clinic taking place:
Wednesday, 9/20, 6-7:30 PM
Centerville JHS 625 South Main Centerville, UT 84014
