Oh What a UYSA Night!
Incase you missed it, RSL's feature "UYSA Night" was a blast this past Saturday when Real took on FC Dallas. To start things off, the winners of the UYSA Logo Contest were recognized during the youth parade. Also in the youth parade were the winners of the Brady Jensen Memorial Scholarship and the UC Strikers Club, home of the scholarship program.
Halftime was packed full of youth soccer features. TopSoccer players took to the field to show their skills in small sided games, Lisa Jensen, Brady's Mom, was honored as the Sprint Soccer Mom of the Game, and for Youth Soccer Month, two lucky fans were chosen to shoot for the USYS $10,000 kick. Unfortunately, both contestants missed, but received a prize presented by UYSA President, Leisa Vineyard, and USYS Region IV Director, Jolene Woodhave.
Overall it was a fun night, from the UYSA activities to RSL winning 3-2 in a close game. Thank you to all who participated!
