America Futbol U14 Girls, coached by Miguel Nunez, competed in the 2007 US Club Soccer Region G Championship in Boise, Idaho in July. The Boise tournament is one of eight 2007 US Club Soccer National Cup Regional Tournaments held around the United States, the winners of which go on to the 2007 US Club Soccer National Cup Finals. Playing under the Utah Premier Soccer Academy in the U14 Girls Super Group division, America Futbol won its first pool game by a score of 2-0 over Federal Way United Reign 92 Purple from Washington state. The next day, in this one-pool-game-per-day tournament format, America tied Capital Athletic CASA 92 Blue from California North with a score of 2-2. America won its final pool game against Emerald City FC 92 White from Washington state by a score of 4-3.

With two wins and a tie, America earned enough points to reach the semi-final in a game against a fellow Utah team...La Roca Northern Premier (formerly Avalanche), to whom America had recently lost in the Utah State Cup. Down by a score of 1-0, America scored a goal in the final minute of regulation time to take the game into overtime. Each team scored once in overtime to take the game into penalty kicks, which America won 4-2. In the final, America met Diablo Valley Soccer Club Black 92, a strong team from California North. Diablo Valley won the final, and moved on to the 2007 US Club Soccer National Cup Finals in North Carolina, where they took 2nd place nationally for the second year in a row.
