Utah Youth Soccer 2007 Annual General Meeting

This year's AGM will be held on Friday, February 2nd and Saturday, February 3rd, at the Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown, 215 W. South Temple. We will begin Friday evening social hour beginning at 6:30 pm, dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. This year's guest speaker will be USYS National Technical Director, Sam Snow. The evening will end with our annual awards ceremony.

Saturday's events will start with check-in and the opening of the vendor show at 8:30 am. The AGM business meeting will begin at 9:00 am. Lunch will be served at 12:00 pm; we will have a guest speaker from Real Salt Lake during lunch. Lunch will be followed by a break beginning at 1:00 pm to allow you to spend time with the vendors. Please take time to visit with all of the vendors throughout the day and have your vendor card signed by them so you are eligible for the raffle. At 1:30 pm we are having a Real meet the player's session (we don't know which players will be attending). Sam Snow will be offering two clinics for coaches. Kicking Balls: A skill development session for those players U-10 and younger begins at 2:00 pm. The second session will begin at 3:15 pm, 4V4, a technical and tactical group play session for those players U-11 and older.

There will also be a session with Sue Hinkle from ADG. This session will begin at 2:00 pm. Sue will be covering the new referee assigning program. This training is mandatory for all referee assignors that assign UYSA games.

Following the clinics we are offering a 30 minute question and answer session with Sam Snow which will end at 5:00 pm.

You can register for this year's Utah Youth Soccer Association's AGM by submitting your registration form and the registration fee to: Utah Youth Soccer Association, 4476 S. Century Dr., Ste. D, Salt Lake City, UT 84123 before January 28th, 2007. The registration fees are as follows, Awards Dinner (Friday) $35.00, Workshops & Luncheon (Saturday) No Charge, Business Meeting (Saturday) No Charge. The Luncheon is for all those who attended the business meeting.
