The third week of Region IV’s ODP camp has concluded for Utah’s ’94, ’93, and ’92 girls, and for the ’94, ’93 and ‘92 boys. The respective Region IV ODP camps are held at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho for the girls and the boy’s camp is held at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon.

The girl’s teams have been decimated by both injuries and a flu-bug that has been hampering play during the first three cycles of camp in Idaho. Nonetheless, the players have persevered with fantastic results both on and off the field. Continuing with well-deserved and earned respect in Region IV, Utah has continued to face all of Region IV’s best opponents each week, and numerous players have been identified each week to participate in daily invite games. Congratulations to each of the teams, and to the following players who have been named to this year’s Region IV ODP Pool thus far: Mackenzie Harrison, Anna Cassell, Taylor Ritzman, Bethany Kanten, Elli Measom, Kealia Ohai, Kyleigh Royall, and Harley Spier.

The boy’s teams, in particular the ’92 boys, have also been decimated by injuries suffered at camp. Nonetheless, the boy’s teams have been very successful garnering tremendous results on the field with solid wins over Colorado, Cal North, etc., with all three teams in the “Super-Group” facing Cal South, Colorado, and Cal North in their first three games. Congratulations to each of the teams, and to the following players who have been named to this year’s Region IV ODP Pool thus far: Kade Janes, Nick Thiros, Maikon Orellana, James Rogers, and Karson Payton.

The ’91 girls and the ’91 boys arrive to their respective camps this week and we wish them continued success in their play. Congratulations and thanks to all of the players, coaches and administrative staff for a job well done!
