State Technical Director Greg Maas and ODP Administrator Judy Martin announce that the final tryout for the 2007-08 ODP season will be held in Orem this coming Saturday, November 17th. "Final selections are clearly not determined; Saturday's tryouts are critical to the selection process, and will provide those attending one last opportunity to make a great impression on our staff," Maas said. Final State Team Pools will be announced on this site Wednesday, November 21st.

Soccer players born from 1991-95 are eligible for this year's ODP program. Tryouts for the boys will be from 9:00 to Noon and the girls will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. The final ODP tryout will be held this Saturday, November 17th at the Lakeside Sports Complex located at 1850 West 400 South in Orem.

Utah Youth Soccer's Olympic Development Program is part of a national program that identifies and develops talented, committed youth soccer players to represent their state, region, and national team programs. Last year, Utah achieved unprecedented success with 34 young Utahns advancing to represent the state in region and national team pools.
