State Technical Director Greg Maas and ODP Administrator Judy Martin offered special thanks to all of the parents, players, coaches, administrators, and volunteers, for their efforts during this year's ODP tryouts. Nearly 1,000 players attended ODP tryouts this year, and that is remarkable, given that fact that State Cup and ODP overlapped the first two-weeks. "The interest and passion shared by everyone around the state for ODP is absolutely fantastic - which speaks volumes about our program and the great people we have involved," Maas said.

All registered players who attended ODP tryouts this year will receive, via e-mail (based on the e-mail provided at registration), verification with the appropriate notification. In addition, the e-mail will contain detailed information on accepting their position in the player pool and further ODP instructions. The ODP Clinics scheduled for December 1st, 8th, and 15th have been revised and updated on the ODP Calendar of Events located on this website. The December 1st clinic will be held at Juan Diego Catholic High School from 10-12 PM for the 1994-93 girls and from 12-2 PM for the 1992-91 girls. The December 8th clinic will be held at the BYU Field House from 3-5 PM for the 1994-93 boys and from 5-7 PM for the 1992-91 boys. The December 15th clinic will also be held at the BYU Field House from 3-5 PM for the 1995 girls and from 5-7 PM for the 1995 boys.

Player selections were determined by individual technical, tactical, physical, and psychological talents. Final selections for this year's state team pools were exceptionally difficult. "I would like to congratulate and thank each player who attended tryouts and am confident that every player found the process to be very challenging and rewarding," Maas noted. Maas also praised the efforts of his coaching staff for their thoroughness and commitment to excellence in selecting this year's state team pools.
