Sympathy Extended to Family and Friends of Spencer Salinas
"He was a great kid and he will be missed."

Spencer Salinas, a UYSA Competition soccer player died Sunday, September 2 after complications sustained in a swimming accident. Spencer played sweeper for the Warriors team from Ogden. He was a leader on the field and with his associations at school and in the community. Spencer was a student at Weber High School where he was Junior Class Vice-president. Life-long friend and coach Todd Honstein is deeply saddened by Spencer's death. "He cannot be replaced, he was a good kid on and off the soccer field".

Spencer's parents are Willie and Jeana Salinas of North Ogden. He is also survived by brothers, Zach and Tyler. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8th at 11 a.m. at the Washington Heights Baptist Church. Friends and family may call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's North Ogden Mortuary and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
