Utah Youth Soccer Association is excited to announce that Rene Miramontes will be in attendance at the AGM/ Soccerfest to be held at Juan Diego High School on February 29, 2008 and March 1, 2008.

Rene Miramontes will be here to conduct coaching workshops on the following topics: 4 v. 4 games, passing & receiving techniques under pressure, and speed of play. In addition to the coaching workshops, He will be conducting a workshop on the US Soccer's player development and identification processes.

Over the past 26 plus years, Rene has served as a soccer coach in many capacities. Notable past positions include: U.S. National Coaching Coordinator, U.S. 1996 Olympic Team Interim Coach, MLS Colorado Rapids Assistant Head Coach, NSCAA National Staff and Coach of the Year, San Diego State University Technical Advisor, Alliance Soccer Club Technical Director, Cuyamaca College Head Coach, Olympic Development Program U-14 Boys Regional Head Coach, Alliance Soccer Club Technical Director, Region IV Amateur Men's Head Coach, USA Soccer Club Director of Coaching, and Olympic Development Program District Head Coach.

Currently, Rene is involved in a variety of positions including: a National Staff Coach for Region IV, the U.S. National Coaching Coordinator, and with the NSCAA as a National Liaison for Hispanic Affairs. He serves on both the National Instructional Coaching Staff and the U.S. Men's National Para-Olympics Coaching Staff. He is the President and Founder of Advanced Soccer Concepts established in 2000

Rene holds a USSF 'A' License, USSF Youth License Since 2006, and a NSCAA Premier Diploma. All at Utah Youth Soccer Association feel lucky and are extremely excited to have Rene Miramontes with us for our 30th Anniversary Celebration.
