America Futbol, coached by Miguel Nunez, traveled to Las Vegas over the President's Day weekend to play in the Las Vegas Coaches Classic. The U15 Girls bracket included teams from California North, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado and Utah. America's toughest opponent was Davis Xtreme, California North's third-ranked U15 Girls team. America tied Davis in pool play and again in the Final, but won the Championship in a dramatic shootout.
