| September 15, 2009 UYSA to Sponsor FREE Coaches Seminar State Technical Director Greg Maas and UYSA is proud to announce a FREE Coaches Seminar this Friday, September 18th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the UYSA State Offices located at 4476 S. Century Drive Suite D Salt Lake City, Utah 84123. "Dr. Lee Hancock is an esteemed colleague with a wealth of experience in soccer and sports psychology, and this is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable insight to the challenges all coaches face in confronting competitive environments with our players,” stated Coach Maas. Dr. Lee Hancock is a Professor in the Kinesiology Department at California State University Dominguez Hills. As an applied sport psychology consultant he works with hundreds of youth soccer players, parents and coaches in order to help them be successful both on and off the field. Lee also currently consults with college and professional athletes in various sports in order to assist them in reaching their full potential. In addition, he has created and implemented numerous training programs for youth clubs as well as national and international organizations. More importantly Lee is involved in soccer. Lee played college and semi-professional soccer. He holds a USSF “A” license and was a former region IV staff coach. Lee has coached for various clubs, including some of the country’s premier clubs, since 1991. |
