Technical Director Announces 2003-04 Coaching Education Calendar

Technical Director Greg Maas has announced the release of an extended Coaching Education Calendar for 2003-2004. The development of the calendar comes in response to the requests and needs of our coaches and member organizations around the state. The calendar provides course dates and contact information on a statewide basis. The courses have been assigned on regional basis among Cache Valley, Southern Utah, Utah County, Davis-Weber County and Salt Lake County. "This calendar will allow our coaches to plan well in advance to attend necessary courses offered by Utah Youth Soccer," Maas said.

President Paul Burke emphasized the importance of the calendar to our Association and praised the efforts of the Technical Director. "Greg is very committed to coaching education in our state and the development of this long range calendar will allow our membership to take full advantage of future courses," Burke said.

Maas invites UYSA's member organizations to submit requests to host a course scheduled within the organization's region. The courses have been scheduled on the calendar, but sites remain to be determined. "Now is the time to organize and take advantage of the chance to host a course in your own backyard," Maas said.
