US Youth Soccer Magazine Sent to UYSA Members
The spring edition of US Youth Soccer Magazine is arriving in mailboxes
across Utah this week. This thirty-four page, full color magazine has
been sent to all registered UYSA players between the ages of 8 and 13.
This magazine is yet another tangible benefit of membership with the Utah
Youth Soccer Association. In addition to being part of Utah largest and
best youth soccer organization, UYSA's youth players receive a
subscription to this soccer-specific magazine. In 2004, US Youth Soccer
Magazine---which already enjoys a circulation larger than all other U.S.
soccer publications combined---will become a quarterly publication.
The Spring 2003 edition of US Youth Soccer Magazines features a "Skills
School" demonstration of kicking technique by Kristine Lilly, America's
most-capped player; interviews with U.S National Team players Bobby Convey
and Joy Fawcett; a challenging quiz on soccer's rules; and a caption
contest that Utah's clever young writers will be expected to win.
The Utah Youth Soccer Association wants to make certain that its members
receive the full value of UYSA membership. Consequently, if a player
between the ages of 8 and 13 has not received a copy of US Youth Soccer
Magazine by April 15th, please contact the registrar of the league with
which the player is registered. If you do not know how to contact your
registrar, please send a e-mail to scott@uthayouthsoccer.net. Please include your name, full address, and the name of your current team.
The subscriber list for U.S. Youth Soccer Magazine is generated from
UYSA's master database. Leagues and districts are thus reminded that
registration materials must be submitted to the State Office on a timely
basis to ensure that UYSA's players will receive the magazine.
