There is a new game in town!

FUTSAL®, the official indoor game of FIFA! Futsal is beginning to take the country by storm as more and more soccer players, coaches, clubs and associations discover the unique and positive qualities of Futsal. Futsal is a game played around the world. Many of today's world stars began their youth soccer by playing Futsal. The Brazilians attribute their world soccer success to Futsal. Pele, Zico, Socrates, Ronaldo and Bebeto grew up playing Futsal and credit the game with developing their skills. Futsal is the game that focuses on a player's fundamentals and prepares them for the outdoor game.

Utah Futsal Association (UFA) is affiliated with US Futsal, which is a proud member of US Soccer, and is a FIFA sport. The National Futsal Team plays international matches, and competes in the FIFA Futsal World Cup every four years.

UFA has been established in Utah for two years old and is currently holding youth league play, which involves several Utah Youth Soccer Association teams. UFA is also excited to announce that it is hosting Utah's first State Cup Championship during the week of March 15th to 20th, 2004. The winners of the UFA State Cup may qualify to play in the National Futsal Championship in the Anaheim Convention Center July 7-9 2004, which is in walking distance to Disneyland!
