Notice of Special State Council Meeting on July 13, 2004

Please be advised that a special meeting of State Council will be convened on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 beginning at 7:00 PM at the office of the Utah Youth Soccer Association, which is located at 4476 South Century Drive, Suite D, in Salt Lake City.

The purpose of this special meeting will be to hold elections for a position on the Board of Directors. The position of Treasurer became vacant when Tom Borrowman tendered his resignation during the March 2004 meeting of the Board of Directors.

In the interim, President Paul C. Burke appointed Rick Henage to act as Treasurer to ensure that the financial affairs of the Association are maintained. The Board of Directors approved the interim appointment of Henage as Treasurer during its May 2004 monthly meeting.

It is important for members of the State Council to attend this meeting. In the event that you are unable to attend the Special State Council meeting, please arrange for a proxy. Your attention is directed to UYSA Bylaw 1:08:04 for the requirements concerning proxy votes.
