ODP Selects Final State Team Pools
JDA to Announce Pools for Upcoming Events

Technical Director Greg Maas and ODP Administrator Gail Ellison offered special thanks to all of the volunteers, administrators and coaches for their commitment to provide our state's top players an opportunity for development as individuals and players. "ODP continues to make tremendous strides as a program and our standard of play on the field continues to improve; and I am always impressed with our organization and support behind the scenes," Maas said.

Final player selections were determined by individual technical, tactical, physical and psychological abilities; and final selections for this year's state team pools were exceptionally difficult. "I would like to thank each player and recognize their hard work and commitment to ODP; and I am confident that every player had a positive, challenging and rewarding experience," Maas noted.

New developments to the '91 age group (JDA) have been established by US Youth Soccer's Region IV ODP and, this year, Utah will be selecting a pool of players in the boys and girls JDA pools for upcoming events. Final pool selections will be determined after completion of training on March 20th and selections will be announced Wednesday, March 24th. Along with the other ODP age groups, the first event for the boys and girls '91 age group will be the ODP Mountain States Friendlies held June 4-6, 2004 in Utah.
