State Office Announces Extended Seasonal Hours

Office Manager Scott Harward announced today that the State Office for the Utah Youth Soccer Association will adopt extended hours throughout the 2003 spring season in order to better serve UYSA's dedicated volunteers. Beginning April 1, 2003, the State Office will be open to serve UYSA's membership from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Harward explained that the decision to offer extended hours during the season comes in response to requests from leagues, districts, and referees around the state. "Meeting the needs of UYSA's membership is the office staff's number one goal," Harward said. "Those who have found it difficult in the past to conduct soccer business after working hours will now have easier access to the resources and services available from the State Office."

Harward also emphasized that this increase in service to UYSA's membership will not increase the costs of operating the State Office. To stay within budget constraints, Harward modified and staggered staff working schedules to provide coverage for the extended office hours.
