ODP Administrator and Treasurer Appointed
President, Paul Burke and the Board of Directors approved the appointment of Gail Ellison as the ODP Administrator and Marlene Plumlee as the ODP Treasurer. "Gail has served our program well and this is a natural progression," Burke said. Gail will also continue her role as the girls ODP Administrator.
Gail is a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a B.S. degree in Health Services Administration. Gail also served as a volunteer for the Utah Lung Association as the chairperson of a statewide program for children with Asthma from 1997-2002. Gail is a confessed "Soccer Mom" who loves soccer, lacrosse and outdoor adventure with her two children and fabulous husband Les.
ODP has also taken great strides to improve the financial management of the program by appointing Marlene Plumlee as the ODP Treasurer. Marlene will oversee all financial management of the program and has been instrumental in developing a separate budget and accounting for ODP. "Marlene's background in accounting is exceptional and I have great confidence in her ability manage the finances of this great program," Burke said.
Marlene Plumlee has been an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Utah since 1997. She received her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Michigan in 1997. Marlene is also a Certified Public Accountant. Marlene has three daughters who have or currently play club soccer and ODP. Marlene also volunteers for several club soccer teams.
