Utah Youth Soccer Association and Affinity Soccer Announce Partnership for Online Management System

The Utah Youth Soccer Association (UYSA) announced today that it has entered into a multi-year agreement with Affinity Soccer, a division of Affinity Development Group, to use a web-based management system pioneered by Affinity. The Soccer Association OnLine system developed by Affinity will be customized for use by the Utah Youth Soccer and its member organizations.

The Utah Youth Soccer Association selected the Affinity's Soccer Association OnLine after an exhaustive search of the market by a special committee composed of Board members, registrars, and staff members. "The committee was asked to find the best system for our organization," Burke reports. "After evaluating all of the options open to our organization, the committee's verdict was clear. Affinity's Soccer Association OnLine system is the most comprehensive and robust management system available. Our Board of Directors was convinced that this system will improve the quality of service and directly benefit the Association's membership. This system is a key part of our strategy to improve and expand our services to the young people of Utah."

The Utah Youth Soccer Association becomes the second youth state association of the U.S. Soccer Federation to implement Affinity's Soccer Association OnLine system. Last year, the California-South Youth Soccer Association successfully implemented the system. "For the first time in its history, Cal South was able to get all of its member data in one secure, real-time, association-wide database. Consolidation of the data and application, by itself, was a huge step forward for the organization," says Vince Mirabella, Cal-South Project Manager. "Once this was in place, we were able to activate many other value-added features that were directly visible to the members. The benefits from this advance have been incalculable in value.
