Champions Crowned in 2003 State Cup

The 2003 Snickers State Cup Championships concluded on Memorial Day with the crowning of state champions in eleven age groups. Four other age groups, the boys U15-U18, competed in State Cup competition last October 2002. The champions from last fall and this spring, plus two wild-card teams, will represent Utah at the Far West Regionals in Oahu, Hawaii on June 22-28.

The spring State Cup tournament finished with several wild, overtime games and a shoot-out. Shouts of "Aloha" were then heard throughout the day as teams received their medals and stood atop the platform, adorned in colorful leis, to celebrate state titles.
