Advertisement to Appear in State-Wide Newspapers
As part of its continuing effort to support the registration drives of its
recreation leagues, the Utah Youth Soccer Association has placed half-page
advertisements in the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret Morning News. These
advertisements are slated to appear in the sports sections of these
newspapers on Saturday, May 10th.
These advertisements are part of a marketing campaign that has been designed
to boost both registration and public awareness of the Utah Youth Soccer
Association. The newspaper advertisements will appear during a radio
campaign that was launched earlier in the week.
The Association's Board of Directors has made a commitment to building the
Association's brand. Last month, during its regular meeting, the Board
voted to increase the organization's marketing budget. Secretary Jodi Wells
and Program Director Leisa Vineyard then toiled to collect registration
information from the recreation leagues across the state. Vineyard and
Webmaestro Colleen Koelliker also teamed to design the online registration
materials.
The newspaper advertisement, which was designed by Office Manager Scott
Harward in partnership with the entire UYSA staff, provides registration
information for every recreation league that responded to requests for this
information. The advertisement also features the logos of clubs affiliated
with the Utah Youth Soccer Association.
Finally, the advertisement acknowledges the support of the Association's
sponsors, including SCORE, Snickers, Holiday Inn, Tide, Chevrolet, and Uniroyal.
