Bruce has worked in the Soccer Community since 1988. He was a volunteer with Capital Soccer out of Boise Idaho. Bruce transferred to Sandy, Utah in 1991 and worked with AYSO as a coach, referee, administrator, chief coach and assistant area director. In 1995 he moved over to UYSA and worked as club coach for boys and attained his referee license. Bruce then served as District III chairperson for three years before becoming Director of Development for UYSA.

Cuppett holds his USSF C license and his USSF National Youth License and works as a staff trainer for the National Youth Courses and JDA/ODP. He is the Director of Development for Utah Avalanche Girls Soccer Club. Bruce is the head coach for the Utah Avalanche U 12 Girls team and trains three other youth teams in the club.

Cuppett retired from the US Army as a Command Sergeant Major after 30 years of service and now is the CEO for Waterpro, INC. He married to his lovely wife Denny for 32 yrs and has a son Andrew who just transferred from Washington State University and is now enrolled at the University of Utah.
