Playing Experience: Played at the University of California Irvine, in Northern Ireland, Singapore, the Continental Indoor Soccer League (CISL), the for the Utah Blitzz.

Favorite Soccer Team: Argentina's National Team.

Favorite Soccer Player: Zizou - Zinedine Zidane.

Most Memorable Soccer Experience(s): Sitting next to Carlos Bilardo (winning coach for Argentina World Cup '86), watching England vs. Argentina at Wembley Stadium in '98, watching the U20 World Cup Finals in Argentina in 2001, and watching the Argentine U20's beat Ghana 3-0 in Buenos Aries.

Coaching Philosophy: Trying to develop players that have good technical ability and an understanding of how to play the game well at age 16, 17, and 18. Sometimes this means not necessarily winning at age 10, 11, and 12. At those ages it is almost always more effective to smash it down the field putting the other team under pressure. It is a very uncommon to see a U12 team really play well out of the back without making many mistakes … because you get punished for trying to play good/correct soccer. Things change when a team can really do what it wants in possession. It's a difficult job for a coach to try and teach and develop when people are only after results in the younger age groups. In my experience, the team that wins at U11 is rarely the same team that is winning at U18. My goal is to develop players and winning will be a bi-product at the older age groups, and I spend a lot of time with players trying to accomplish this.

Special Interests: All of the kids I work with, snowshoeing, spending time with my dogs Zizou and Sake, and of course, GOLF!
