Most Memorable Soccer Experience: KNVB coaching course in Zeist, Holland. Attended the course in conjunction with the World U20 Championship.
Coaching Philosophy: I admire the training structure of the Dutch, the creativity of the Brazilians, and the heart of the Argentineans. Without players there is not a need for coaching. My center of attention is players; I focus on providing the best environment for their growth. I believe in positive reinforcement, and encourage players to work hard to make their dreams come true.

Favorite Book: Tao Te Ching
Favorite Food: Thai Food
Special Interests: Psychology, Arts, Music, and Sport Science (currently a student at the University of Utah).
Mauricio Says: "In Soccer, when making a mistake, you have two seconds to feel sorry for yourself - then move on and play one play at a time."
