Current Team: District 7 (Cache Valley) U12 Boys Recreation Team
Coaching Experience: Level I and II State Hosted Youth Modules; 15+ years experience coaching recreation soccer at all levels
Playing Experience: Learned to play soccer while participating with her own kids. Has enjoyed participating in coaching clinics, but credits her playing background to her kids who have taught her the game
Favorite Soccer Team: Any team she is coaching
Favorite Soccer Player: Mia Hamm comes to mind, but her favorite players are those she has been fortunate to work with over the years
Most Memorable Soccer Experience: A few years back, there was this little boy who never thought he was very good. One day, I decided to play him at forward and he was very nervous and apprehensive. Early in the game, the ball came to this little boy and he dribbled and shot the ball right into the back of the net for his very first goal - I will never forget the excitement on his face!
Coaching Philosophy: Building self-esteem and confidence in each player is very important. I want each player to know they are special and their contributions are important to our team. Skill development is very important, but I really want to make sure that my kids have FUN above all else!
Favorite Movie: Jungle Book - any Disney movie
Favorite Book: Treehouse Adventure Books
Favorite Food: Pepperoni Pizza
Special Interests: Spending time with family, and other outdoor activities including: hiking, fishing, camping, and riding horses
Teresa Say's: We have one rule: "Play fair and have FUN!"
