Coach: Allen Nunn

Current Team: Currently, I am an assistant coach with the '93 girls ODP team with Utah Youth Soccer. Throughout the year, I spend a majority of my time training youth soccer teams and players ages 6 to 18 with La Roca and other affiliated members of Utah Youth Soccer.

Coaching Experience: I hold the USSF "B" License, and have over 14 years of coaching experience in Utah at the recreation and competitions levels.

Playing Experience: I grew up in Dallas, Texas, and started playing soccer when I was just six-years old. Most of my youth soccer experience I played both goalkeeper (no laughing) and midfield. I have played every position throughout the years, and currently enjoy playing a lot indoor soccer with my friends and coaching colleagues.

Favorite Soccer Teams: The US and Brazil's Men's National Teams

Favorite Soccer Players: George Best and Marco Van Basten

Most Memorable Soccer Experiences: As a youth player, my club team in Dallas played a team from Oklahoma in the finals at a large regional tournament, and I played my best game ever as a goalkeeper (again, no laughing). The game went into overtime, and then a shootout that we won … an incredible game!

Coaching Philosophy: My coaching philosophy is to keep the game simple, but creative, and dynamic. Work hard, train hard, and play hard. I strongly believe you should play for the love of the game, and if you truly love the game, you will push yourself to your personal best every chance you have.

Favorite Movie: Any of the Star Wars - especially the Return of the Jedi!

Favorite Book: Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People"

Favorite Food: Mexican

Special Interests: My special interests are my family, especially my son Michael. I also love music and enjoying helping my niece Abbie Lorrin achieve her dreams to become the next American Idol in 2008 or 2009.
