U14 Girls Update: La Roca (UT) 1 vs. Pride Predators (CO) 2
For the third straight day La Roca came out a little sluggish, and it cost them. A strong Colorado team capitalized on their chances, resulting in an early two goal lead. To their credit, La Roca never gave up, even turning some of the play back towards Colorado. Second half play was much better as the Utah team played with a renewed energy. Avery Ford aided the effort with an unassisted goal in the last stretch of the game. But, it was too little too late with the game ending with a 1-2 loss. La Roca will advance to the Quarterfinals on Friday where they will meet up with the Washington Wild Card.
