Departed Salt Lake City to Denver at 7:00 PM. Arrived at the Denver Marriot (host hotel) around 9:30 PM. Attended a brief social sponsored by Colorado Youth Soccer. Shortly after, attended a planning meeting directed by Bruce Cuppett. Others in attendance: Teresa Ortiz, Jodi Wells, Jodene Smith, Gail Ellison and Richard Yoder. Discussed preparations for Utah Youth Soccer hosting the Region IV Workshops in 2004 and the National Workshops in 2005. Adjourned around Midnight.

Saturday, October 18, 2003

Started out the day with a workout at 6:30 AM (by myself I might add). 7:45 - 8:30 AM enjoyed a continental breakfast sponsored by adidas. Opening remarks by Darl Rose and other Region IV appointees. Individual workshops commenced from 8:30 - 3:30 PM. Workshops attended: Boys and Girls Olympic Development Program (8:30 - 11:30 AM) and State Directors of Coaching (1:00 - 3:30 PM). Workshops were followed by individual State Association meetings from 3:30 - 5:00 PM. Even social followed.
