Below you will find 3 different grant programs that UYSA and US Youth Soccer offers to their members.

2019 UYSA Field Development Grants

Deadline: April 19, 2020
Award Announcement: May  2020
2018 Grant Allocation: $45,000.00


The Utah Youth Soccer Association awards grant(s) on an annual basis to support field-development initiatives throughout Utah.  All applicants shall submit a packet that includes the below information. Grants shall be awarded by the fourth Monday of May each year. Once a grant is given the awardee must send a follow up document no later than 1 year after the grant was accepted to UYSA describing how the funds were used and status of the project toward completion. 

Field Development Grants can be for anything pertaining to fields, maintenance, flags, goals etc. The Grant can be for a portion of the money or all of it depending on the needs of the organization.

UYSA Field Development Grants consist of the following items:

Field Grant Application Form    

Supporting Documents:

1. Organization name and location

2. Documentation of tax-exempt status

3. Project budget

4. Description of your project, including who the project will serve, why the community needs the project, and current funding and planning status of the project.

Safe Places to Play grants offer the following

  • Synthetic Turf
  • Lighting
  • Irrigation
  • Sport Court


Safe Places to Play Grant Applicants - Applying for a Safe Places to Play grant is a two-step process

  1. Letter of Interest (LOI) to the U.S. Soccer Foundation's Grants department
  2. If the Foundation approves the LOI, your organization will be invited to complete an official application


*Safe Places to Play LOIs are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. LOIs submitted according to the following schedule will be considered during each grant cycle.
