Risk Management is a job that never ends. It is Disclosure Forms and Background Checks – making every effort to provide a safe environment for every player. But, it is also protecting coaches, administrators, parents and spectators. Risk Management is everything from goal safety to fiscal responsibility.

Weather Safety

This was prepared by Oregon Soccer and in some places reflects their policies - but it's got lots of good information on being safe in any kind of weather. Please note, a lightning detection system is more reliable that the "sound" method and I know many tournaments, clubs, leagues, city parks, etc. are using them. If you don't have a detection system, and use the "flash-bang" formula always err on the side of being more cautious - storms can move rapidly.
