Avalanche 7 vs Gillette Wild Things 0
Avalanche made a big recovery after loosing their 1st two games by totally dominating Wyoming. Wild Things had zero shots on goal while Avalanche's shots were continuous. Lauren Crowder scored three times. Chelsea Forbes showed her ball skills controlling the game and scoring twice. Kaycee Mansfield also scored two goals including one breakaway and one-touch goal on a pass from Lauren Crowder.
Avalanche 1 vs Surf White 5
The first half was dominated by Surf. Avalanche had few chances and were outshot 9-3 but capitalized on a corner slotted in by Kaycee Mansfield to take a 1-0 half-time lead. The 2nd half was again dominated by Surf scoring four goals in eleven minutes. The final score was 5-1 for Surf.
