Gators Premier 1 vs WSM Galaxy 4
Monday's game between Utah's Gators Premier GU13 and the Oregon Galaxy defines what the western regional competition is all about. Although the score does not accurately portray the high competitive nature of the game, the Oregon team, with their over the top style of play, were able to capitalize on a couple of occasions.
Brianne Gonzalez, right wing, found just the right moment to serve a great through ball to the middle where Elli Reed, forward, brilliantly finished the shot for the only Gator goal. Myriah Stockman made a number of threatening attacks. Also, Megan Rhoads made an incredible save in the second half by blocking a direct shot. The game was very exciting and competitive. Notable Players: Brianne Gonzalez, Elli Reed, Myriah Stockman, Megan Rhoads, Julia Florez, and Jaime Nelson.
