Celtic Storm 6 vs Crossfire 0
The 1st half was dominated by Celtic Storm. The score was 0-0 at half time. The 2nd half saw six unanswered goals for Celtic Storm. The 1st goal was scored by Katie Fellows on a breakaway created by a one-touch through ball by Kelly Isleib. The 2nd goal was an own goal created when Jessica Harmon played a ball down right wing for Kelly Isleib. She beat one player and crossed the ball in front to Katie Reineke, a collision in front of the goal resulted in the ball finding the back of the net. A combination on the edge of the box resulted in Katie Larkin getting enough space to strike the ball to the far side of the goal for goal number three. The 4th goal was scored by Katie Fellows on a short break away created by a quick restart after a foul. Katie Larkin scored the 5th goal on a hard shot from 25 yards out. Not to be outdown, Jessica Harmon scored from 35 yards away into the top of the net for the 6th and final goal.
Celtic Storm 4 vs Les Bois United 1
In a game dominated by the Storm Katherine Reineke scored a hat trick including a 30-yard shot to the goal. Candace Gagon also hit a 30-yard rocket that hit the back of the net. The Boise goalkeeper was kept busy throughout the game blocking multiple shots. Idaho came out stronger in the 2nd half, breaking through the defensive several times, and were rewarded with a penalty kick for their only goal. The Storm responded by taking control once again, despite loosing Jessica Harmon who left the game ill.
Celtic Storm 2 vs Arizona Golden Eagles 3
The start of the game was spent mostly in the middle third with both teams struggling to created scoring chances. Arizona went ahead in the 12th minute on a shot from just outside the eighteen over goalkeeper Lindsay Foote's head. Storm had a long stretch of possession in their attacking half but struggled to get good chances to score. They had several long shots which the Arizona goalkeeper handled easily. Twenty-six minutes into the game Arizona hit a long free kick at the goal which Foote had trouble handling. She knocked the ball down in front of the goal and Arizona slammed it into the back of the net. Utah again had a few long shots which don't find the back of the net.
A few minutes into the 2nd half Katie Reineke scored on a shot over the goalkeeper's head from 35 yards away. Katie Larkin had a couple of long shots which are handled by Arizona easily. Fifteen minutes into the half Arizona had a series of outside shots and crosses that don't give Utah much trouble. In the 60th minute Utah had a good chance to score on a great ball in behind defense by Jessica Harmon--Kelly Isleib got the ball over the goalkeeper but just wide of the goal. Shortly after Lindsay Foote dove to catch a low cross at the foot of an Arizona forward. A few minutes later Arizona got a third goal on an own goal by a Utah defender. Two minutes later Utah had a 3 on 1 break but couldn't manage to get a shot on goal. With ten minutes left a good shot by Katie Larkin from the top of the arc forced the Arizona goalkeeper to dive to make the save. One minute later Katie Fellows went in alone on goal, but put it wide left. With just seconds left in the game Utah found the back of the net. A good through ball by Katie Larkin found Katie Fellows who put the shot at the top left corner. Celtic Storm played a very good game and had most of the possession, but failed to create and finish enough goals.
