Inter FC 0 vs FC Royals 85 4
From the start of the game Inter had most of the possession of the ball. Five minutes in Royals had a quick counter attack resulting in the 1 v 1--Inter keeper Lisa Willardson made the save on the edge of the box. Ten minutes in Carolyn Swenson beat the goalkeeper and took a shot on an open goal but a defender cleared it off the line. Against the run of play Washington scored in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute a header by Jo Crowe went just wide of the goal. Inter had control of the game until Royals 1st goal and then Washington picked up their level of play. Royals scored their 2nd goal from 20 yards out in the 34th minute. Their 3rd goal came in the 39th minute on a 1 v 1 breakaway. In the second half Willardson made several good saves to keep the Royals at 3, but in the 73rd minute Royals scored a 4th goal.

Inter FC Premier was officially organized November 2002. The team practices
in Sandy, and plays their home games in Orem. They draw quality players
from throughout the Wasatch Front. The primary objective of the team is to
showcase the players to University and College soccer coaches and
recruiters.
During the first six months of existence, playing against regional and
national ranked club teams, university and college teams, and premier level
teams, Inter FC has compiled a record of 22 wins, 6 loses, and 5 draws.
Inter won the championship of the U-18 Nitemare Before Christmas Tournament
in Chino Hills, California, finished 2nd in the U-18 Spring Premier League
and won the 2003 Utah State Cup championship. During State Cup, Inter FC
scored a total of 20 goals and allowed only one goal.
Inter FC features many ODP players and several players have made the Region
IV ODP pool. The trademark of the team is to train hard, have fun and enjoy
team unity. The plans for the team through 2004 are to successfully
represent Utah at the Regional Tournament and participate in several
showcase tournaments including Surf Cup and President's Day.
