Impact Black 91 is no stranger to State Cup Finals. In 2007 they lost in the Championship match making this year's win even sweeter.

Match Recap

Both teams came out playing committed and aggressive resulting in one of Impact's players receiving a red card in the 6th minute. Impact had to play almost the entire match down one player. The first goal was scored by Impact and then Rush tied it up. Impact scored another goal and thought they had the game won when Rush scored in injury time to tie it at 2-2. Impact scored the first goal in overtime and then Rush tied it again. The match came down to kicks from the mark. Impact made their kicks and Rush missed-giving Impact the win. This was an open match played with passion and skill. It was a exciting match to watch as a spectator.
