With N1 League Applications now being accepted, we would like to answer some questions that have come up.
1. Will there still be a “season” for these teams like they play now? Playing 8 games in both Fall and Spring against the other National 1 teams in Utah?
A. National 1 will be the league season. The younger age groups will still get their 8-10 games during each fall and spring season.
2. When will they play the other regional National 1 teams? Will there be weekend travel to play those teams in addition to their season, or do the travel games replace their local season completely?
B. Our district for N1 is Utah. So at least this first year there won’t be any regional travel for the league portion. Top teams will qualify for a postseason event that will require regional travel. But otherwise there won’t be travel farther than St. George
3. How will the high school seasons impact National 1?
C. N1 won’t overlap with high school seasons. Players will be able to play their high school season just as they do now.

Application Process to Utah National 1 League
• Team Admin will apply team in GotSport to the Utah National 1 League
At the time of application, a credit card must be entered into the system that will be charged upon acceptance into the league for the Utah National 1 League Team Fee (noted below).
• Before a team can apply to N1 their club must be members of US Club
o If your club/org is already a US Club Soccer member, no action is needed at this time.
o If your club/org is not already a US Club Soccer member, please apply to join US Club Soccer via the US Club Soccer New Organization Member Application ASAP.
o US Club Soccer membership is at the club/organization level, not the individual team level. Therefore, individual teams should only apply for US Club Soccer membership if they are not part of a club or other broader organization. This is uncommon.
o Following US Club Soccer membership, club/organization accounts will be provisioned in GotSport and affiliated with US Club Soccer and the corresponding N1 district account(s).
o If you are unsure of your US Club Soccer membership/affiliation status, please first check internally with your club registrar/administrator. You may also contact the US Club Soccer Member Administration team by submitting a request at:

o US Club Soccer membership and provisioning must be complete before player and staff registration (which opens June 1, 2026), and other administrative items, may begin.

• Upon being accepted into Utah’s National 1 League, players must register in Utah’s registration database, Sports Connect. Your club will provide a registration link and team assignment code.
