Alumni
Utah Youth Soccer has many alumni playing at the collegiate, semi-professional, and professional levels. UYSA proudly recognizes and celebrates their many accomplishments.
“I remember when I was 9 years old, moving to Lehi, Utah with my family, I was scared out of my mind for competition soccer! I remember going to tryouts and trying to do everything right and not mess up so the coaches would think I was good and pick me for their team. In hindsight, I wish I would have known this great nugget of knowledge:
Falling in love with the game comes before anything. It is the first thing any young player should have. Mistakes are part of that, so don’t get discouraged when you do something wrong or can’t do something quite as good as others. Continue to work hard and remember that practice makes perfect. Fall in love with the game first and then the rest will come.”

“I may be a little biased but I think players from Utah get overlooked. I think we [BYU] have some of the best players in the country. We’re showing that now as the majority of our roster are players from Utah. It just shows that we have some of the top players in the country and are continuing to prove that.”
